(Summary)
Issue 1
Beast is on vacation from the Defenders and heads to Hollywood to hang out with old Avenger's pal, Wonder Man; Dazzler, whose singing career was ruined when the world learned she was a mutant, is attending a party when she is approached by Alexander Flynn who wants her to perform at an experimental underground theater; Tired of being out of the limelight, she agrees and signs a contract with Hugo Longride; Hank and Simon run into Dazzler at another party and are disgusted by the sleazy new company she is keeping; Dazzler's powers begin to erupt out of control and she abruptly disappears; Beast tracks her down at the Heartbreak Hotel and promises to take care of her in her time of need.

Beast and Dazzler enter romantic territory while she recovers under his watch at the Heartbreak Hotel. Although her powers are still erratic, Daz agrees to a first performance at the ‘underground theater’…actually a mutant gladiatorial ring!
Issue 3
It’s show time and the stakes are terrifying! Despite Beast’s disapproval, Dazzler continues her new gig at a mutant gladiatorial arena. But just as Hank discovers the dangerous serum that is spiking Dazzler’s powers out of control, he too is injected – and turns entirely feral!
Issue 4
The Beauty and the Beast take their final stand in the arena! But where does Doctor Doom factor into the equation? Plus, will the bonds of romance remain once the chains of bondage have been broken?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A merchant takes shelter in a castle during a thunderstorm, and ends up striking a bargain with its beastly master. His youngest daughter, Beauty, returns to the castle to live in exchange for a restoration of the family's previous wealth. Beauty befriends Beast, but longs to see her family again. He allows her to visit her former home, but when she doesn't return at the designated time, consequences ensue.
