This was one of our staff's favorite games growing up.

As the Beast, the player must successfully complete several levels, based on scenes from the film, in order to protect the castle from invading villagers and forest animals and rescue Belle from the evil Gaston. Intermission screenshots between each level help to move the story along, as do mini-games. The Beast can crouch, jump, swing his fists, and use a special roar attack that will freeze the on-screen enemies for a brief period. He can sometimes locate items within a level to restore some of his health, and the game provides unlimited continues. It was often described as having a high difficulty level.

The Beauty and the Beast Unit as they appeared in E3 Battle.
Also known as the Beauty and the Beast Corps (BB Corps or B&B Corps). Were a group of female soldiers. All four members were given special suits to turn them into incredible combatants, after each had suffered from intense Post Traumatic Stress Disorder caused by the horrors of war. Their usage of former FOXHOUND codenames, and their directive to hunt down Solid Snake, led to them being informally referred to as the SNAKEHOUND Unit.

The beast gives him a ring and makes him choose between being a servant for the rest of his days, or give the beast his daughter. If either the king or daughter don't return by midnight, the father will die. The protagonist decides to save their father and takes the ring, only to be teleported far away from the castle. Time is running out to make it to the castle by midnight. The witch Varga shows up every now and then to the daughter from getting to the castle. The player must solve hidden object puzzles and mini games to cross the realms of dwarves, mermaids and oracles to reach the castle.

A prince would go into a monster-filled forest every night to listen to someone singing on a cliff. The singer is a wolf monster who accidentally blinds the prince when she tries to cover his eyes after he climbs up the cliff. The wolf monster feels guilty for what happened to the prince, so she offers her singing voice to a witch in exchange for the ability to take on a human form so she can help him.
